I can’t believe it’s already been 6 years since our amazing son was born. But here it is, he’s now 6 years old! 6 years since the picture in the slider above was taken.
Tara and I are so proud of him, and how amazing he is in every way. He’s very smart, friendly, compassionate, loving and so much more, and we couldn’t be happier!

This may be one of the strangest things I’ve ever seen. I have never seen this before, that’s for certain. I was taking our dog Memphis out to potty after feeding him dinner, and on the patio just off the steps was a dead hummingbird. It wasn’t simply a dead hummingbird however, it was a dead hummingbird which had apparently had a head-on collision with a bee. It looks like a bumble-bee, but only the front portion, as it appears the back part is missing. I had to take pictures of it of course to show what happened. If you look closely at the pictures, you can even still see pollen from the bee scattered over the head of the hummingbird!
Poor little critters…
They’re growing so fast!
So, nearly thirty years later, my wife still remembers the words to every single popular (and some not so popular) 80’s song ever! But really? All the lyrics for ‘Bust a Move’? I never even knew the chorus, let alone all the verses!
Ha ha ha! She’s pretty dang awesome!
